I was going through our archives today and came across these photo’s of Aubrey. She was a custom bridal client of ours a couple years ago. When looking through the photo’s I was reminded of how beautiful her gown was and decided to share them with you. My favorite quality of this gown is the gorgeous guipure lace. Guipure lace to not commonly used for bridal. It has a three dimensional quality that adds nice texture to the gown, not to mention it drapes beautifully! Another unique characteristic of this lace is there is no floral pattern, the swirly pattern of the lace is different and fun. An extra bonus about this lace was it had a fabulous scallop edging that we cut and used to trim out the neckline, sleeves and hemline of the gown. Another beautiful design detail, not pictured, was the covered buttons on the back of the gown. They extended down the center back of the gown to the end of the train. Aubrey had a very strong vision for the silhouette of this gown. She wants a sleek sheath silhouette with a high neckline and cap sleeves. Aubrey knows her figure well, the sheath silhouette complimented her tall lean figure well. She was one of the easiest brides we have worked with; she knew exactly what she did and did not want. I love the easiness of this sleek yet feminine gown!
